SCI Coal Township Address

SCI Coal Township Visits

SCI Coal Township Intake

SCI Coal Township intake is not street-arrest booking. County defendants first move through arrest, preliminary arraignment, court hearings, and sentencing. If a sentence sends the person to state prison, DOC reception and classification decide placement. The county DA sequence page notes that prison sentences may be served in Northumberland County Prison or at state correctional institutions throughout Pennsylvania, depending on the sentence.

Once the person enters DOC custody, the PA DOC locator, DOC mail rules, DOC visitation, and DOC money rules become the relevant systems. PA SAVIN/VINELink may still be useful for custody-change notifications, but local jail release paperwork is no longer the governing process.

It also lists Reentry Service Office services for inmates within 18 months of minimum or release date, including life skills, budgeting, digital literacy, resume writing, job searches, and community connections.
